We collaborated with Priceline, a subsidiary company of Booking.com, for their interior spaces. This company manages the back-end support for travel technologies and algorithms for Booking.com, and their requirements are along the lines of modern professionalism.
Since the executives at Booking.com wanted to target and support Indian customers while standing their ground for the North American market, they decided to establish an engineering operator centre in Mumbai. They required office space for the same to expand their horizon in the Indian territory, and that is where we came into the picture.
We sat down to outline their expectations and visions about the space. Their requirements fell between something that would highlight diversity as well as affability. Since their business targets a global audience, they wanted their space to come off as hospitable and cordial.
The architectural vision and design perspective matched in terms of functionality, coral flavours, openness, and technology. They managed to capture the essence of the organization by carefully choosing the colours, texture, lighting, and graphics. After careful deliberation, we decided to go with the handcrafted ceiling and acoustic wall systems. No stones were left unturned when it came to picking the right colours to accentuate their brand voice and make it a favourable and positive place to work and thrive.
Along with that, it had a modern touch with contemporary elements like yoga, meditation, stand-up meeting, and breastfeeding rooms. Additionally, their office was one big space without any cabins.
We were also inspired by their sensor-based faucet doors to maintain hygiene in their offices. Such features enunciated a conjoined motto of creating a global workplace while prioritizing their talents, and they required acoustic furniture to illustrate their outlook.
